Natashia Betancourt produced the installation of Kevin Couliau’s Heart Of The City exhibition at the NBPA headquarters during NBA Draft Week before coordinating the relocation of the pieces to New York City Parks & Recreation’s Arsenal Gallery in Central Park. Curated by NYC Parks and A Common Practice, the exhibition showcased selected photography from Kevin’s archives spanning 2004 to 2020, capturing the essence of New York City’s outdoor basketball scene.

The exhibition drew from Kevin’s personal relationship with the city’s playgrounds, as highlighted in his book Blacktop Memento: Fragments of Erosion and the feature documentary Doin' It in the Park: Pick-Up Basketball, NYC. With support from the NBPA and Project Backboard, the exhibition ran from June 29 to September 5, 2023.

Additionally, Natashia produced the first-ever film screening at West 4th Street Park, further celebrating the cultural impact of pick-up basketball in partnershop with NYC Parks & Recreation.
